Intro
This program will explore the various musical forms of the time - cantatas, courtly song, and sonades - and will offer a journey between Italy and France. To present this demanding music and these great composers, Christophe Rousset invited the young soprano Eugénie Warnier, who he noticed when she was starting out at the Academy of Ambronay and who he invites regularly to work with Les Talens Lyriques. With this program, Christophe Rousset also wants to return to the places and festivals where the Baroque movement blossomed and that contributed to its growth.
