Les Talens Lyriques recently tackled Mozart’s repertoire with their scenic versions of Cosi fan tutte at Dijon Opera House. Here, they bring together two great voices, the coloratura soprano Diana Damrau and the bass Nicolas Testé, to bring to life famous Mozart characters

from the Marriage of Figaro, the Magic Flute, the Clemency of Titus, Cosi fan tutte and Don Giovanni. Particularly well-known for her unrivalled interpretation of the Queen of the Night, and her acclaimed late-repertory performances (Strauss, Fauré), hailed many times – from the award for Best Young Singer in 1999 to the award for best female singer in 2008, Diana Damrau is without a doubt the best coloratura, celebrated by her German compatriots.
